I would be interested to know what people think about the AEM and the Innovate gauges as I've been looking at them.Comment

Just subscribing for info.
What do you want it for, a guage or for logging? As that will influence your choice, eg internal data storage etcCurrent-2004 Impreza PPP wagon

Good point, not sure really, I start reading stuff about features and then I get baffled
I s'pose I want to monitor my AFR to make sure I'm running ok, there's been a few changes since it was last remapped (including the welding on of an extra Lambda boss) The full Wagner kit, both manis and IC. I remember PRJ saying the Vems Round was good, that's 300 quid with both sensors.

Just get this:
190$ with WBO2 sensor included. Ask him to put lower value on the package for customs as well...Comment

I've got aem and innovate and there both spot on. Im also using the aem in place of the standard lambda sensor as you can use the output from the gauge to send the signal to the ecu so no need for another bossComment

AEM's narrowband output is not very good, it does not simulate a narrowband sensor properly (feeds wrong signal on decal cutoff, and a few other issues).
Innovate units are not very reliable, they just die randomly out of the blue, probably not very well protected pcb, or some component that fails.
VEMS Round or SLC DIY2 are the ones to go for.Comment

Well, I have not tried on 2.2T.
But on a certain other car it caused the mixture to jump around, getting some flat spots where it went lean, O2 codes and general weirdness.
We reverted to using two bungs and two sensors, and the problems went away.Comment
