check the resistance between no.1 and 3, should be arround 9000ohm, 13-14,000 is a dead coilpack.

                Here´s some update!

Checked all the coils, they all are at 7930Ohm so nothing wrong there..

Changed out my o2 sensor, same problem.. Disconnected the o2 sensor and the car runs nice as hell BUT the AFR is at 12,5 :s

I will try to use my wideband sensor narrowband output hooked up with my ecu and see if that will help

If the AFR is 12.5 without O2 sensor your map is way off.

Yepp, or that the mapper has left it there for safety reason or something :s

We´ll see what AFR I get when connecting my Innovate MTX wideband as a narrowband to the ecu!

I also tryed to remove the vac hose from the FPR and the AFR(14,7) value was the same, shouldn´t be richer, like down to AFR12-13 without the vac hose connected ?

Now I have changed the o2 sensor, fpr and also the coils.. nothing got better :s

Any ideas ? Could the fault be in the ecu, maybe I need a retune ?!

No. The car does not need narrowband to run, mixture must be 14.7 at low load with or without narrowband.

Okey.. but without the narrowband connected I have an afr at 12,5-13,5 at idle and the car runs smooth and w/o any missfiring at all..

also tryed to connect the narrowband ecu input to my widebands narrowband output (brown cable on innovate mtx-l) - missfiring and an afr at 14,7 and 10deg btdc at idle..
when the missfiring comes the timing goes down to 7,5 deg btdc..

Look, it's pointless for me to tell you anything, because you have no idea about how an internal combustion engine works, and about processes inside, but you really try to be the smart guy.

I also don't like the fact that you double question everything I say.
I told you, that your car needs mapping two weeks ago. I also told you, your misfiring and hesitation is not caused by your crappy wiring loom, it is not caused by the spark plugs or coils.

I told you all this BEFORE you even tested anything, and I was right.
And do you know why I was right? Because I have tuned about a hundred of these engines. I also know exactly why your car is misfiring at idle, and you will know too if you put those injectors of yours on an injector bench at low pulse widths, as I have done, and find that they are unsuitable for this engine.

But if you know everything better, why do you even bother coming on here and asking?
                            Just do what you want.

So u meen that a tune just dissapears out of the ecu then ? The car is allready tuned and has worked great ever since til now!

I´ve seen alot of threads from u and u allways have the same negative attitude to people and I can´t understand why..

I haven´t done any mods on the car since it was tuned, only thing I did was to cover the car during winter time.

And for the injectors - I don´t think u have sayed anything about the pulse widths before.. How come they are not suitable for the I5 when the car has been running great before ?

And I don´t know anything better than u.. I´m just writing what I have tested and not tested and looking for more tips during the process of finding the fault!

Your car was never tuned. You assembled lego bits from another car, put it on yours, and decided it will work fine. The fact you are running 12.5 afr on idle with O2 unplugged already shows that the tune does not work right.

The injectors have been discussed countless times, use the search function.

As for my attitude - I really don't care what you think.
I actually gave you lots of information. But you choose to ignore that information.
When I point that out to you directly, you make a personal attack on my attitude.

                                Keep going.
