NO!!! man I bet he is gutted!!! did he ask your opinion of the damage?

Yeah, he did. Apparently, the tailgate has a crease at the bottom, the inner lamps are also damaged, as well as the bumper. Then some lowlife scratched the off side, end to end. His body man is good though. On a lighter note, my type 89 Coupe quattro is completely stripped, it's being picked up on Monday evening, to be dropped off at Metal Surgeon. Shame it can't be done on NHS...

Just a quick update...

Put the car into my local AA service centre at 9:30am. Got a phone call at 12:30 telling me that they still hadn't managed to get it out yet!
Finally got a call at 4pm to say come and get it.
Best part is that I only got charged for 1 hour labour!

Good job I went to school with the service manager!

Car now running fine again. Temperature sits at 90 and doesn't budge, even after a long thrash followed by some town traffic.
