    Turbo,family car,reliability....

    Hello guys,gays and lesbians

if you were to have a family car,a car to use for everydays, like shopping, transport childs,go to work....

then, what kind of Hp limit or kind of turbo could be something reliable to dont stay every weeks doing, fixing and upgrading things and keep the car on the road as ANY normal car.

i mean, if we are boosting the car to 2.5Bar i am sure we will be doing things many days ,the same as hose clamps revisions or changing coils, sparks plugs,oils....

so what´s your point about something like this? would be better a high displacement engine like a 2.5 with less boost and a very good cylinder head ported job with bigger valves and keep it boosting 1.7 Bar? better than using a 2.2 without head job and 2.2Bar

i would like to do this in a future, and i am not sure if the right way is to push a car to 500Hp and always more than 2Bar in the intake system

personally i know a guy who is using his RS2 with a GT3071 0.82AR...with a pretty standard car and engine bay,,,pushing it to 1.8Bar in his 2.2 block and stock head...and this car amazed me

i think that someone is now thinking "stupid, forget a car like this and buy a RS4 B5"

I think that a stock car (S2 Avant, UrS4) with just a remap would be way more than enough.

          Audi A6 C6 3.0 TDI.
300hp with chip. Reliable autobox, etc.

2.2T or 2.7T is not a "worry free family car for every day". Everything else but that.

That would do the job nicely! And good torque.

Yup and they are like 10 000 EUR now, so pretty cheap for the amount of car and gadgets you get.

So ,any stock of our Audis can be named " reliable" for everydays?

First rule of all,I don't want more diesel cars.got enough at work

Kms done are not a problem, because I do very few going to work, shopping or carrying my girlfriend.

I know ,at least my coupe and others goes pretty well while we were on stock turbo hehe.

I do like to maintenance my cars ,this is not a problem ,the thing is to have a car "comfortable" with a turbo engine and don't run risks abou OMG,engine or hoses failures and I'm left on the road

To do crazy things I'll have my coupe
