But before changing it, can be diagnosed with VAG-COM.

Replacing it without prior diagnosis is usually not a very good idea, as 99% of idle problems are caused by different reasons.
My code sayed short to ground so It could be the wiring or the sensor so I measured the sensor and it was bad thankfully

Yea, I could had the Bosch version ordered to tomorrow, was something like ~30 euro. But I wanted to test this today so I bought the FAE for 16,90 euro.

Sound like vakuum leaks to me.. Have u checked that the right connector is connected to the isv ?

Recently had this on a 3b (182k miles), ran fine for last 20 months with no issues, recently started with wavering idle. near stalling after warmup, intermittent throttle response, thought about either tps or G62, nothing in vagcom other than #532 (which relates more to the fact that i was idling/warming up the car for lengthier periods of time than usual)

anyway got a new G62 from ebay (VW heritage ?) for around £12 delivered, changed and now car back to normal...
