stock 7a flywheel on 3b motor

the flywheel on my car is a stock 7a part

i am going to be pressing the starter motor ring gear back on tomorrow morning and lifting the engine back in.

but there is a recess in the ring gear two teeth wide and i am unsure if this is also picked up by the crank sensor as there are two pick ups. One by the timing pin and one sits above the ring gear. not sure as i have been unable to find any images of a 7a flywheel showing this recess. is there a specific mark i need to align the recess with.

and can not find any haynes manual or exploded diagram on 3b and 7a motors to show and explain the purpose of each pick up in referance to flywheel marks

The one above the ring gear counts the teeth. The other one senses the pin.
