Have seen on this forum some nice setups with a 7A valvecover and red TFSI coil packs. Can't find the pics anymore and I don't remember who did have the setup..? Please post up some pics with this solution. 7A valvecovers only.

Steve's setup is very neat and appears to have required a minimum of changes to the 7A cover & coils (counterbore to plug holes and removal of a rubber boot and tab).Cheers'en, AndyC

Nice. How to get the coils more down as in G60Rally's pics? The TFSI coils are longer than the 1,8T coils.

If you go for the shorter coils you will need to remove the lip from the top of the 7A cover. The longer coils sit higher and don't require the removal of the lip. They look sweet nice and low, but I guess heat is likely to be less of an issue if the coil section is further away from the cam cover.Originally posted by Thuppu View Post91 Modded 3B

It appears that Hamish either has shorter red TFSI coils or a slimmer 7A cover as he had to machine the lip on the 7A cover to allow the coils to engage with the top of the plugs. Mine clip on easily and they are nowhere near the plug hole lip so I didn't machine them. I can measure the coils I have if it helps?91 Modded 3B
