Is there a recommended method of priming the fuel system after fitting a new filter and some of the fuel line. (Finally got round to removing the 10v fuel pressure accumulator next to the filter).
I cranked it over for a while last night, battery wasnt great so it ran down eventually.
Is this normal, when ive done work on fuel lines in the past its not taken this long to fire up.
Should i be cracking a fitting somewhere to help the air out? I just figured it would self prime letting the air out through through the return.
Knowing my luck something completely unrelated has gone wrong at the same time and im barking up the wrong tree.
Also i was thinking about the filter layout, surely due the the horizontal mounting of the coupe filter there will always be air trapped in the top?
