    Nah. No hoses.

OK, got it wrong. I 'thought' it was a 51 row cooler but it turns out to be only 44. I don't know why I thought it was more. Anyway, dimesnions without moutning lugs and hydraulic fittings is 165 x 50 x 345 mm. I can bring it up if you like. Got it for £30 so it would be rude not to use it. There is room to get fittings in but it is quite tight and I think I can do it without removing the rad ducting. Then again, the rad ducting is a PITA when it comes to changing the thermostat and mine seem to go every 6 months or so.

Slight topic change (size isn't everything apparently)...

Has anyone tried to use oil to water cooling rather than oil to air radiator? Could such a thing be plumbed directly into our coolant system without causing an overheat?

            Ck.
Shocked, exhausted, hosed, bushed, dumped, chipped, mounted, filtered, gauged, packed, intermittantly wiped and braked. I mean broken. Now, about the car...

Is this the same for the 3B? Does it ever needs a replacement (like water)? My mechanic will change the oilsender anyway, maybe change this too? Maybe you have an partnumber?

i have replaced my oil cooler for a bigger one 25x25cm in dimentions.I couldnt fit it anywhere else except in front of the intercooler on the RS2 and also only 2/3ds are receiving cold air.It is a hell of a lot better than the OEM oil cooler but im afraid of its position and the damage that can take in case of a small bump.

Is it wise to buy a second smaller oil cooler that would be easier to fit under the right vent and also refit the original cooler to have 2 oil coolers?

                cheers

Oil radiator need be changed, what choice ??

Hi there, i need to change my oil radiator, it s leaking ! What choice is available and do u put something better when u want to upgrade the engine power ? ( i am running standard now, but want to go 300 hp soon )

Nothing is available to standard spare parts seller, and i suppose to VAG it s a kill !!

                  Any advice ?

                  Cheers

                  Gerald.

                    Oil coolers

Try www.rallydesign.co.uk, the prices on Mocal coolers is better than Speedflow.
