Its exactly as PRJ said and i agree to that. Its all about driving style at the end of the day, so advising people of what to do without asking about what their driving style is, is useless.

I have had the chance of being able to try 4 different sizes turbos and being able to see their differences on everyday driving, and i hated every minute of the lag that was created on larger turbos. Others are happy to downshift, and get more horsepower through the use of a larger turbo, and are happy to rev till the highest rev range to get the benefit of that. Myself, i like to be able to have as much mid range power and fast spool, at cost of not reaching the 500hp mark on our type of engines. Having tried a few setups on my car, that is my conclusion.

I have said it for a while 450 to 460 is about the right target for a drivable road car, in my opinion of course for a 2.2 in line 5.

Depends on your compression ratio, head setup, the fuel you use and so on. It can variate between 450 and 550...

I have managed on mine about 390whp on the current setup and that is translated to a strict 480-490hp with the VDR Dyno I have.
Dyno dynamics at 1.68peak boost made 354whp and 468 crank. That was with a sticking wastegate and a lot of oscillations. I later tweaked the map and at 1.9 bar at the latest acceptable rpm it made 390whp on VDR. The numbers compared very closely with the dyno dynamics measurements so I'm happy with what numbers I see currently.

Adu cams, larger valves and ported head, GT3076R 0.63ar and turbo dynamics billet compressor wheel.
