Wastegate valve grease

I'm rebuilding my wastegate and replacing the diaphragm and having a good tidy up.
What kind of high temp grease is recommended for the valve stem?

no problems mate, its just old and dirty and I want to make sure I don't have any problems from it when I use it

I rebuilt my wastegate Alex as was told that you shouldn't use any grease or lubricant on the stem because it was never meant to be lubricated.
They do suffer from wear to one side of the stem as I have found and I tried to clean up with some wet and dry as best as possible,to remove any scoring and make sticking lees prone.

Copper grease its good for 800 degrees , i used that one in mine.

I was going to say copper grease or molybdenum grease as they are both hi-temp..

hmmm, so none needed at all?
I'd read online about people using graphite based and silicon greases on actuator shafts but no real info on what to use if anything for external wastegates

Dry, any lubricant will burn and congeal and cause sticking issues just make sure the stem is as polished as can be
