Don't buy this manifold... the inside quality is shocking, there are tears between the cylinder runners and lots of small parts that will break off and ruin your turbo.
Definitely not my case. 40000km and still in good condition. Mine had way better look than the one of the pics
Did you ever look inside it? Or did you assume that it is right?
I know who the supplier is, and their cast is bad. All of the manifolds on eBay are made by the same people and as time goes on the molds just get worse... But they were never right from the start. Take any picture of any of these on eBay where they show the collector and they will all have exactly the same fault - the issue I highlighted with the center wall missing between the two outer cylinders.
This means that flow wise this manifold is junk.
Yes, it will sort of work, as there is only one way for the exhaust gases to go, but it's not any better than the stock manifold with it's screwed up cyl 1 and cyl 5 runners.
There is also a question of what material they used.
Buy the original, or buy a RS2 replica (those seem decent). But the replica of this manifold is complete rubbish.
It was not my manifold, a customer bought it.
I told the customer to return it, and buy the real thing or get a RS2 replica, which he did, as anyone who understands things about manifolds can see from my pictures that the ebay manifold is useless from a performance standpoint...
When you clearly see that half the collector is missing and there are tears between the cylinder runners, which will heavily affect gas flow, it's kinda clear that it is no good.
For the same money buy an STR or RS2 replica, both will be MUCH better.
The question is is it good for ca. 400 hp or not. I did not expect a brilliant made manifold but still it must work ok. It can not be compared to the the one Carsten is making no doubt about that but what can you expect for 160 Euro including shipping.
Before buying any performance part you always need to do the research and look through forums for advice, usually words like, stay away or pay the extra for better quality. School boy error if you've read the warnings and still bought..

What kind of question is this?
There is effectively no collector in that manifold, there are big tears between cylinders so the exhaust gases and flows from the different cylinders bounce around in that manifold.
It's not an exhaust manifold, it's a piece of metal that looks like an exhaust manifold. It has nothing in common with an exhaust manifold other than that it bolts up on the flanges...
You asked about it, you were told it is a scam, and you decided to go ahead with it anyway. You see that it's completel f*cked inside, and you still want to put it on your car.
So I think does not matter what I say at this point anymore. Do whatever you want to your car
