I'll print that out and bring it with me to the machine shop. It will be easier to do that than to bring in the 3B (altho' I'll probably bring it in anyway to be sure). I sure need a truck for all this stuff. I brought the 5 speed from the same 10vt car (fwd) home in the trunk of my 200q20v. I guess it wasn't so back tho'. An engine might be different. Or...

One question, what did the machine shop need to put those in? Did you give them some dimensions, or did they figure it out themselves?

Btw, on the non-oil squirter equipped blocks, my understanding is that they have the little flat blank areas just sitting there waiting to be used for them.

    Thanks,

    Ken
The squirters are not expensive so better buy new ones.

PM me a mail adress and I'll send you a larger version of the picture to print out.

I've had both a AAN and a AAF together in the back of my 100 AQ, no prob

The machine shop machined the area flat, bored out the hole for the squirter, and made threads for the bolt. They measured from my AAN block.

The "flat" area are there, but needs to be machined to get a proper surface.

Audiman: Don't have any "before" picture, but area is just cleaned up and 2 holes drilled.

    Cheers,
    Roger

I can promise there is NO un-cracked turbo heads in circulation.
That is the mostly the reason to take heads from na engines.

For me, I already have the 7A head in my possession, which came with cams. So, I'd like to use it rather than sell it and keep the cams. Generally 7A heads are a lot cheaper than 3B heads as well. Of course it's more work, like every other choice I seem to make.
