Another allternative aux radiator plug I found out today= engine oil pan plug
Hi guys
The topic basically explains all the goods. The oil pan plug works fine for plugging the aux radiator hoses(top and bottom). I only wish I figured this out before I ordered the forge motorsport by pass vavle plugs.
Cheers
Josh
I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?
Errm. The threaded part as a plug? It will most certainly leak!
Well if it leaks i will let you know(in my opinion it will not leak). I have some nice heavy duty clamps on it. However this is the second coupe and the fuel pump died and the head gasket is blown. So it will be awhile before she becomes alive again.
If it does leak it's a nice temporary solution to a bad aux radiator. On a side note, exhaust gas is getting into my coolant system and that pressure has yet to pop the plugs or force coolant throught them. However most of the coolant is making it's way into my f'n downpipe.
