Help running problem on tick over and under boost.
Help running problem on tick over and under boost.
Hi everyone I have an Audi s6 and it has acquired a fault. On tick over its realy lumpy revs are up and down. Also when Runing when you give it a boot full its hesitant but in a very aggressive way as if the boost is blowing the spark out. Any suggestions or advice would be great.

Umm...The AANs in the UrS4 and UrS6 are notorious for loosening their sparkplugs and blowing the plug out of the head. So start by checking your sparkplugs:

In that case, check your MAF connector (causes strange things when all the pins aren't contacting their harness pairs properly).
Hi, I had the same problrm I think, It only happens with the buterfly fully closed or fully open like in tick over or full throtlle, if that´s the case in your S6 as it was in my S2 it´s due to dirty contacts in the sensor of the buterfly (I don´t remember the name) that only reads closed or open buterfly, cleaned the contacts with proper electrical cleaning spray and problem solved, no more irregular tickover or violent cuts on full throtlle!
Hope it helps, just some cleaning spray and cheap fix!
