I brought this off Amazon for £26.00 (3/4 break bar not included)
It is marketed for use on the 2.5 TDI ACV/AJT engine in the T4 but works on the ABY/3b/AAN/ADU etc

I've got one of these for doing the 5 cylinder vans. I didn't realise it fits the s2 pulley too.
The one i have is probably 5 foot in length you need it on the vans . Always happy to lend it to anyone local.

It works the same way as the proper tool, it fits inside the front pulley, and prevents it from turning, allowing the bolt to be undone.

The pulley has a key on the inside that the tool fits over

Box section was just convenient to use, locks onto the snub mount. Pipe would make a nicer tool like the factory.
