Hi

Can some please help with blink codes that i pulled from my s2

1) error code 4411
2) error code 4412
3) error code 4413
4) error code 4414
5) error code 4421

1) error code 4431
2) error code 4442
3) error code 4343

1) error code 1111

If i check the explanation for these codes it looks to me that there are a ground wire or something not connected because it all show something to do with neg ground,where can i go look for something like this.

I know its an old thread,but better "bump" it so i dont open new one.
I needed to pull the engine out of my car and was flipped on 90degrese for 2h.Then oil come from intake manufold so when i put all together(engine was sitting in normal position 2 days after flipping) and now after starting the car again i get check engine light(it was not ON when i 1st started the car,it flashed couple of minutes later
So after doing blink code(thank's to Dave who teach me that) i get the same error quoted above.
I also did OBD1 diagnostic test and injectors, idle control valve, charcoal canister valve and N75 valve all worked like it shud.
Also checked if all 5 cyl works,and on evry removing of injectors conector car changed(to worse) also checked the MAF
Car od idle works OK,only some buzzing around wastergate-turbo which apeared later

Any idea?

They are all related to that ECU/device communication test. I would just clear them (remove the power from the ECU for a few minutes (red fuse holder above the ECU - with the ignition off)) and carry on:

4411 (Blink Fault Code), 01249 VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number
Fuel Injector for Cylinder 1, (N30)
Open or short circuit, +12V supply circuit breaker or fuse open
Symptom: Engine runs rough or stalls

4412, (Blink Fault Code) 01250 VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number
Fuel Injector for Cylinder 2, (N31)
Open or short circuit, +12V supply circuit breaker or fuse open
Symptom: Engine runs rough or stalls

4413, (Blink Fault Code) 01251 VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number
Fuel Injector for Cylinder 3, (N32)
Open or short circuit, +12V supply circuit breaker or fuse open
Symptom: Engine runs rough or stalls

4414, (Blink Fault Code) 01252 VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number
Fuel Injector for Cylinder 4, (N33)
Open or short circuit, +12V supply circuit breaker or fuse open
Symptom: Engine runs rough or stalls

4421, (Blink Fault Code) 01253 VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number

Open or short circuit, +12V supply circuit breaker or fuse open
Symptom: Engine runs rough or stalls

4431, (Blink Fault Code) 01257 VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number
Idle Stabilizer Valve solenoid, (N71) Open or short circuit, check circuit breaker or fuse for +12V supply
Symptom: Engine speed out of range, Engine might die when cold, Engine runs rough or has flat spot,
Note: When in limp home Mode, idle speed is between 1100 and 1200 RPM

4442, (Blink Fault Code) 01262 VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number
Waste Gate Frequency Valve, (N75)
Open or short circuit, sticking valve, malfunctioning valve
Symptom: Boost pressure too high or too low, Severe misfiring during full throttle due to high boost

4343 (Blink Fault Code), 01247 VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number
Carbon Canister Solenoid, Evaporative Canister Purge Valve (N80),
Open or short circuit, +12V supply circuit breaker or fuse open?
Symptom: Poor response in part of load range, fuel odors, idle speed or quality may be affected

I removed the - from batery so i will check it tomorow

I forgot to say,that i found which errors are,but no idea why they apear. I hope with "restarting" it will work normal

If you switched on the ignition with the ground wires not bolted to the inlet manifold, this might doi it.

I switched ignition ON when i was sure that evrything is bolted on,and the car started without problem the first time. On second starting he fired up hardly and check engine turned on

Well,today i conected the car on battery and car didnt start like always,it needed 5-6 sec to start,and check engine flashed on.I tested the car on road but only 1st and 2nd gear pull and a litle 3rd gear.Now my turbo is quiet like it shud be,but now i am see 1.8 bar boost on stock display(before was 1.7-acording to PRJ after his remap u lose 0.9 atmospheric boost,so when display show 1.7 then it is 1.6) and now i got 1.8(1.7 real boost).
And the car work normal and pull normal,exept a bit smoking becose of oil in exhaust
