    Moisture Trap info

Sorry I didn't participate in this post earlier. My moisture trap post shows the RS2/S2 moisture trap in the left side front kick panel. Now that you found it, you might as well check it for "moisture", which BTW, can be fuel. Some one on my home forum found fuel in theirs (and their MAP sensor) because the diaphragm in their FPR had failed.

Hey, running the homefrys chipset, it is Aby. Normally pulls 1.4 sometimes 1.5 I've seen.

Always I let my car warm up oil and water. So water is below 90 and oil at the first mark.

Just seen today it's not getting above 1.2 sometimes just going to 1.0 it's a mix bag of pressure readings in the usual gears.

12 days and you still haven't made a leak test yet, and keep posting the same stuff over and over and over again...

just logging my experience of the cars changing behaviour.

And trust me I know and stated before I need it pressure tested. Fingers crossed in a few days.

                Right so the following...

Boost leak done. Showed leaks coming from a few places. DV swapped back to oem. ISV hose clamped up. N75 leaking from the unit/now replaced.

So with the N75 now changed this was the last point that was leaking. Seems to flow better but the boost isn't right.

                Did some runs.

6 gear 70mph foot down and the judder kicks in like the overboost is being cut out.

                5 gear 70 the same.

4 gear 1.1bar and rising up to 1.2 1.3 then dropping off.

It's missing that surge of boost pressure that normally kicks you back with the overboost.

Still getting the missing under boost, not violent but constant.

Will defo check boost leak again to make sure everything is air tight.

But saying it is.... What to check now.

Would a failed pos or coil, or spark cause a boost cut??

If it starts juddering under boost like that your coils or plugs are probably shot.

I will pull codes when vag com is to hand. Clear them and drive and see if the G71 has gone now.

So would a spark issue cause boost cut??

These are new plugs done very little mileage. The NGK's you recommended over Bosch. Maybe a bad one.

If the spark plugs are new the coils might be on the way out.
If you floor it and as it comes on boost you get a misfire/the car is shaking, while it's happy to go without any shaking otherwise on say 70% throttle, it's likely coils.
                        Pull the codes first though.

Tried many different runs, sometimes it's like that wot it shakes, but sometimes not...

I notice it alot under boost. And on boost. But my boost still isn't showing or wanting to reach maximum figures

Then went out in martins car who runs your ecu map and is something else. Seeing 1.8 love it lol

Will pull codes, this roughness has been evident since the running issue. Codes have been pulled alot still the same ones

FOC (free of charge). Aye, just an eBay special that has been spot-on for me so far (except for ABS but I think my motor maybe too early for that). Hand held, yes. Maybe worth a look if you've only been using the one diagnostics device so far...
