Which waterpump is this? Is it an RS2 pump, the previous owner state it is in some info I got on the car, but I don't get the part number to add up. 074 121 019C
And also, the car has a 3B block but with a AAN, ABY and ADU belt tensioner and a ADU camwheel, so what timing belt to use?

I asked my friend Kate and she says that that part number (074 121 019C) does not compute. (might just be the casting number, not the actual water pump number)
The AAN, ABY water pump is 054121004AX (where X = rebuilt) and has 29 teeth.
The ADU water pump is 034121004B and has 26 teeth.
The 3B (and KV, NM and 7A) water pump is 034121004X. Obviously normal 3Bs tension their cam belts by rotating the water pump, as shown below. With AAN or ABY water pump and AAN/ABY/ADU belt tensioner (if it works), then you would go with the 119H 151 tooth belt. If you had an RS2 water pump, then the belt would be the 119C 150 tooth belt (see photo). The AAN, ABY and ADU cam sprockets are all the same diameter with the same number of teeth.

Timing Belt PNs: (151 = AAN and ABY, 147 = 3B, 150 = ADU)
Found an old post of mine where I said "the ADU water pump has 26 teeth. The AAN and ABY water pump has 29 teeth (just counted the one I took out last year).". This implies that you could figure out which pump you have by counting the teeth on the water pump toothed sprocket.

I would think that the 074 bit of the p/n implies its origins are from a 2.5 TDi 5 cylinder which also does not use the water pump as a tensioner. Might be from a VW commercial.
Let Me Google That For You (LMGTFY): for all those people who find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than search it for themselves.
I beleive the TDi pump pulley would have 20 teeth. So count how many you have in case!
Its possible someone has pressed a 20V pulley on a TDi pump. The pulley on a TDi pump is wider to take the increased timing belt width of 26.5mm. The pulley width is @27mm. The pulley also appears to have threaded holes in it which I can't remember seing on a water pump before.
I have checked an aftermarket TDi water pump and can confirm the 20 teeth. I might be able to find an original used TDi water pump tomorrow to check the casting number against.
Doesn't look like a I5 pump to me!
Of course another explanation might be if its an exchange pump. Perhaps they just use whatever is salvagable like the casing and stick a new impeller and pulley in there!
If you look at the pics here you can just make out the same casting number but with a 20 tooth pulley! http://www.ebay.de/itm/EGU-VW-Wasser...-/160287308446
