Titanium is a non durable material and will not be suitable for application. Even titanium retainers have a finite live compared to stock steel ones

        ARP

TITANIUM: ARP now offers special order fasteners made of Ti6Al-4V that is specially heat-treated and provides superior strength to other titanium alloys employed in racing and aerospace. The material has a nominal tensile strength of 180,000 psi, and is very corrosion resistant. The main advantage of titanium, of course, is its weight – which is about 40% lighter than a comparable fastener made of steel. Head studs and accessory bolts are ideal applications for this lightweight material.

I just used original washers. They are tried and tested, and free.

who would be interested in a set?

Since we are on the topic, this is from my bulid thread...

This has been discussed a few times on here, are the ARP head washers supplied in the kit too small? I'd say YES

Here are a few pictures of my head after a few hundred miles and the difference between ARP and Sport quattro head washers.

                                For info...

                                ARP size
                                Outer diameter 19mm
                                Inner diameter 11mm
                                Thickness 3mm
                                edit: - surface area = (pi * (9.5^2)) - (pi * (5.5^2)) = 188.495559 mm2

                                Audi washers p/n 035 103 377 12 off £1.03 each
                                Outer diameter 22mm
                                Inner diameter 11mm
                                Thickness 4mm
                                edit: - surface area = (pi * (11^2)) - (pi * (5.5^2)) = 285.099533 which is roughly 66% more than the ARP!
