    Help....ECU fault codes!

I've been fiddling around fitting a wideband system and electric seats over the past few days and now have ECU fault codes that weren't there before I started. From the look of the codes I may have accidentally dislodged a connector or cable. There's a common theme to the codes, does anyone know if their is a single connector these devices are connected through?

    01257 - Idling Speed Stabilization Valve (N71)
31-00 - Open or Short to Ground
01247 - Activated Charcoal Filter (EVAP) System Solenoid Valve 1 (N80)
31-00 - Open or Short to Ground
01262 - Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
31-00 - Open or Short to Ground

    I'm crap with electrics

LOL....Yeah I was hopeful that that might work, but alas they come straight back. It's definitely something that they are all connected too. I've not touched the N75, ISV or EVAP since starting the work on the wideband install. I've been poking around under the dash to get positive feeds and grounding points. It's like a spaghetti around the aux relay panel and I have no idea what to look for that might have been dislodged.

Those are all on a common 15a supply from the fuse board Steve, so you probably have inadvertently pulled out the feed for them

Exactly my issue a few months back.

Replaced the fuse (it was missing completely) and the N75, charcoal cannister and ICV codes all went away

Check fuse S24, they seem to feed through that

Is it possible that taking a feed off the supply to S24 has caused this issue and there is now a route to earth via the wideband kit or seat looms?. Is this fuse in the main fuse box or located somewhere else?

                Cheers

N75 fuse is hiding below the steering wheel i think under the dash.

Seat looms? What in h*LL have you been doing?

Cheers guys. I do have a 10amp fuse in position 24 however I've checked it and it's ok. I guess it must be the wiring behind it and that wouldn't surprise me because I was pulling at wires in that area to find a positive feed I could splice into for my Recaros. I'll do some more poking and hopefully revive the feed. That or other stuff will stop working!

Might be worth finding a factory wiring diagram for the seat looms and then you'll know where to take a feed from!

One option would be to add in a fused relay that's triggered by the switched live circuit, that way, you'll not be interfering with anything else.

It seems someone has boost control via Recaro seat button
