Coilpacks on a 7A cam cover

Since I put the pics on my build thread I've had quite a few PM's asking exactley what I had to machine to make the coilpacks fit the 7A cam cover, so I thought I'd put all the info in one thread.

First of all there are two types of coil pack, long and short. Not sure which ones these are but these are mine

To make them fit I had to trim one of the sealing rings off and trim down the stop. This is before

And after. The alternative to this would be to machine a notch in the side of the raised ridge on the cam cover. Hamish did it this way on his cover

The cam cover as then bored out to a hair under 31mm dia and 15mm deep.

        Nice... i like this.

I still have mine stickout out the top of the ABY cam cover, with the 20V bit kept off to keep the heat down.
