    Hi to all ,

I put my money on a Immobiliser problem. It can be repaired. OR you can get another IMMO box with a pair transpoder and adapt it to the ECU.

May just need to reset the IMMO. Try locking & then unlocking at the door or with the remote & then immediately try to start.

Do you have +12v on coils and injectors while cranking?

Please, delete posts mentioning immobiliser. Its not how it works.

when immo gives you problems on 1.8t they still start buy then cut out.. get a multi meter and test the power wire to the ecu. you'll need a pinout diagram ideally so you know what's what but there easy to find online

it doesnt start and shut at all , just crank with no 12v+ to pump neither to coils , i will take the vag com and go check it and update you with the results , maybe ecu dead as u said possible water got on it
