    boost problems

    hello,

my audi s2 3b has some boost problems..i was using a chiped ECU but it got bost cut and if i acelerated from 3rd gear (flored it) it was jumping violently... so i changed the ECU to the standard.. the prob if violent jumping was gone...
but it only boost up to 0.5 bar and no problems in vagcom... today i changed the n75 valve to test it and it overboosted to 1.1bar and vagcom it showed 0544 boost to high and was jumping violently on standard ECU..

do you have some advice so i can enjoy my s2 again???

Yes. You need to check to see if you have a boost leak by doing a boost leak test. Some options to do this are presented in this post:

Check the hose that feeds the wastegate, if that's leaking you will get too much boost. I don't think the problem is with the chips or ECU, the same problem that was making your chipped ECU overboost is now making your std ECU overboost. On the std ECU you should be seeing 0.8bar.

Make sure the hose from N75 to wastegate is OK and make sure the hoses from N75 are inserted correctly/at their right place (it doesn't hurt to check).

If only it were that easy. None of the stock AAN, ABY or ADU ignition parts (POSs, Coils, plug boots, plugs) causes a check engine light or fault code when they fail or get flakey. You have to track them down the old fashioned way:

I had the same problem plus an instable tick over and n75 good. maf good, no boost leaks, no vaccum leaks, new spark plugs.
..........................In the end just some dirty contacts (mine was one near the butterfly the TPS one).

That is the easiest/first thing to do, clean all the contacts with contact cleanning spray(MAF, TPS etc.)

Call VW, I went in Romania at a VW dealership and they had a tool made by VW, in fact a kit of tools, specially made for boost leak tests.
They even let me keep the tool for one day(a friend knew a guy there). The tool is something like that but with more hose options:

I then went to a guy and machined one for me from poliamid and it cost me 16 GBP
I also took the part number of the VW tool to see how much it's new... It was 500 EURO

Not sure about rubber washers. Here is one that I included in my boost testing post (linked above):
