Wideband lambda voltage output / OE look WBO2 gauge project

Just had a thought about using the voltage gauge from the aux gauges as a wideband lambda dial. Now I am aware that the stock lambda works on a 0-5V, so wanted to check the output of a wideband.

Next thing will be to look at a voltage gauge and see how it works and if it can be altered from the 8-16V range.

A few other options to consider, as the original use of the gauge is not important, just needs to be able to display 0-5V raw signal or a processed signal.

Seems a bit like too much work for nothing. I don't think an analogue gauge will be able to respond fast enough to provide a useful read out if im honest.

I got one of these for £150ish.

What about the controler of the wb probe?

I would have thought that having an 1/4 sweep afr needle would be quite hard to read?

I'm having a chat with Aron at the mo about a nice carbon piece that could house an AFR readout, rather than try and match one up to the OE gauges but just thought I'd look in to it. Another thing I thought of was modifying a gauge housing to fit in something like the 14point7 kit, thus making the outward appearance the same but having the internals digital.

In terms of a gauge, normal operating range is about 10-17 AFR, so that's about 13deg per uint of AFR.
