We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Sorry to use Kunties experiences but its evident that Ross also had the same issue. For information only!
cheers twoqu, I think il map it and see it sorts it self out, one of my mates says its cuz its a roller bearing its makes slight boost on idle which causes the maf to read it and over fuel
Check the little 90% pipe of the isv. I had one with a crack that was not obvious on first inspection, but on closer inspection I found a small crack on the inside of which I only found with a boost leak test. If you have had the isv on and of lately its possible.

Might be worth posting another thread asking for other members experiences using Garrets and the stalling/idle issue.
Without knowing why it occurs its going to be difficult to solve it. We have seen others solve it by relocating the Maf but why does that cure it?
It might not even be possible to cure it with mapping so it would be frustrating for it to keep happening after you have spent out.
Nip, in another thread you mention a catch tank. Please can you take some pictures of the installation and post them up. What have you done with the N80 and 1 way valve on the back of the IM?

Just seen you are using a catch can. Might be worth posting up how exactly its plumbed, in case that is effecting anything.
The rocker cover has been tapped so a pipe joins that to the c/tank the pipe from block joins the tank then 1 to return to sump and finally 1 to.atmosphere
