should fit RS2 without any modifications ? Original RS2 bumper will go into its place and fixing points without touching intercooler ? Has anybody done it ?
When i installed this part on my car i had to cut of a piece front the right side (looking from behind the car) of the crossmember to fit the 2 holes. I used a RS2 crossmember. And it fits behind a RS2 bumper.

very strange to hear that you had to cut that part ..... at this point should not be any issues for sure ...

I had to mod the x member to fit it to the s2. that's the wagner x member and cooler kit. think its a bit bigger again. needed the mount cutting off and rewelding on.

no big deal though. the rest fits great.

I think Ray is talking about the RS2 Evo cooler, rather than the short intake path cooler kit

okayyyy, now I see... you have installed Evo Upgrade Intercooler http://www.wagner-tuning.com/thumbna...axx=500&maxy=0
on your S2, but you have changed into RS2 cross member so you didn't have to use that Stainless Steel Bracket for easy mounting to your original S2 Cross Member,
and if I understand correctly something had to be modified here (marked in red) ? :

p.s> but what for is needed that short silicone hose on another side ? ?
normally this intercooler connection goes very nicely on the top of cross member pipe, just needs proper O-ring inside intercooler pipe

The silicone hose is known as a MarkH mod.

As the joint between the inter cooler and the cross member relies on the rubber o ring to seal it can be the cause of lots of boost leaks.

So the use of a reduced silicone hose and 2 jubilee clips in this location virtually eliminates this...

ok, I agree on 'virtually' , but new proper O-ring should not leak , at least virtually
