    Replace all five and i think that will be your problem solved. rocker cover gasket is fairly easy to do.

    Never had to do an ABY, so its best to ask others on here. Dont want to give you false info.

      note the nipple of the plug that's bronken off at 8 oclock lodged in at the bottom.

        Gasket is fairly easy to replace - here's a great guide (not done by me) - http://www.s2-audi.co.uk/tech_articl...ver_gasket.htm mine was done not so long ago and plug tunnels were also full of oil, the middle bit of gasket is prone to failure...

          SEE - it was something fundamental... CHange all five HT connectors, mop up all the oil as best you can then renew the top gaskets.

            i admit, i know ****** all... but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO happyy... that this is almost certainly the problem.

            I got my ECU back today - poped it back in at lunch, and with the new spark plugs **** ME!!!!!!! If it goes any faster when the plugs are sorted.... I'm gona **** myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
