New Bosch EV 14 injectors - which one?

I'm going to throw my 750RC out to replace them with Bosch ones. In my RS4 applications the short Bosch EV14 980 is a really good choice so I want some similar in my S2.

But after using the search engine I'm more confused about the EV14.

The original S2/RC injectors have a 65mm O-O distance.

From the search it seems, that most people using spacers to fit EV14S in S2.

But the EV14L seems to have also 65mm O-O distance.

So here is the question: which Bosch EV14 is a good choice when I need a min 850cc (3bar) injector. The original Bosch Datasheet has no answer because there are only a few EV14 mentioned and it seems there are much more variations...

or is there a way to fit EV14xt (short 980) in S2?
