      See DIY here:http://forums.quattroworld.com/s4s6/msgs/260108.phtml

For a stock pump, this should be the result for 15 seconds of testing:

I did ut just like that. Mounted a switch between "rearmost" slot in fuse pos 17, and + on battery.
I am not having stock pump.. Mine is Bosch 044

I was guessing it was a 044. Good testament to its flow capabilities.

What would be good is to monitor the voltage from MAF and see it is broadly linear with the amount of air flowing thru it - a proper flow bench is needed to do that accurately but driving with flat boost across rising revs will show something... If it doesn't deliver high enough value at full boost then you won't get enough fuel.

Remember boost is mapped from throttle position but mixture and timing is mapped from MAF. It would have been good if the guy that mapped it on the custom MAF pipe made some voltage measurement when engine was running correct mixture at boost.

Anybody nearby have a MAF you can swap for comparison ?
I was hoping somebody did have a MAF so i could do a test. Now it looks like i have to order a new one.. Looks like i have to be working overtime at work so i could start buy new parts

I have measured my maf right after startup.
Ignition on, engine off -------> 1.38v
            Engine running idle--------------->2.33V

But hwo knows what the value is when air starting to flow fast through the MAF
As you said earlier, to be sure, the MAF has to be mounted in a flowbench and measure and check values in different air speeds.

You have helped me a lot S2central.net thank you !
and all you other guys of curse

            Check list:

Fuelpump. 1.2liters in 15 sec OK
TPS sensor Measured 1000ohm closed, 2800 ohm wot OK
G62 (temp) Measured 5000ohm at 4-5 degrees celsius OK
G70 (MAF) Measured resistanse, and voltage at idle Don't know
FPR Pressure increases with boost, but is it working? OK +/-
AFR Gauge Is reacting if i give it some breakcleaner OK

Still havent done a leaktest, but i do not think it would be any problem because if i had any leakage it will had gone rich.

It cant bee anything else than the RS2 MAF...?

I have a good spare Rs2 maf, if you pay the postage I will loan it to you for a week if that helps you narrow things down.

That pump is certainly impressive for a 15s burst.

As I said the MAF values from an RS2 with stock airbox will not translate to your setup with 4" plumbing - that is trickiest bit for whoever mapped it - this is hugely complex area in motronic. They must have done it right if it ran with correct mixture on boost before the gremlins started.

I see you have an offer for a loan MAF to compare behaviour with... A MAF from any 20VT engine will suffice.

Out of interest - where is your MAF located - on input side (like stock) or output side ?

Im not sure if i understand your question..
But the original "air filter box" isn't there :-P
I have a filter, MAF and hose straight to turbo.. Only a 90deg bend from turbo to MAF

What Paul was asking was whether your MAF was before the turbo (as per OE) or after the turbo. Some tuners put the MAF *AFTER* the turbo and tune accordingly.

Your problem is likely the turbosmart fpr, as they are, a load of *****, people I know say you can tune with them then later the pressure is off by miles.

You may have right, but pressure seems to rice with boost pressure..

It can be that fpr pressure gauge showing boost rise, but not working anyway.
