    Holset Turbos

Heard these mentioned many times but I don't know much about them... anyone care to share?

With KKK 26/7 being quite rare and wanting a reliable turbo, I got thinking... Aim would be for 450bhp or so with lag being the tradeoff.

Are these bolt-on? I have a Wagner EM with K26 flange.

HX35 Super would be quite nice for that target, plus maybe little more. http://koti.mbnet.fi/pro-ht/Audi_URS...super_dyno.pdf

Seen as they are not bolt on I guess I'll take the Wagner off your hands.

                  Cool, cheers all.

So I'd need to change the EM to a T3 flange How is the cold side clearance to chassis and em?

Rusty, maybe you could use a adapter between the manifold and turbo..? http://store.034motorsport.com/produ...3-adapter.html Could be quite easy to diy.

I thought some people had machined KKK housings?

Goldfarb sell cheap holsets in the states. A lot of folk in the states seem to use them.

I would be interested in this also
I think PRJ had a few machined with the KKK housing?
What is oil/water connection like and I take it intake hose would have to be made up too?

Better off swapping the EM TBH, so you get better flow. Think I'd stick with the Wagner, unless there's anything more suitable?
