I saw you several times keeping your left hand like that so I had to ask

You must have watched quite a bit of footage because I've progressed to my samco gloves in that image.

I did some track tuition last year and was told a few times about my hand placement... I think it's because of the distance to the steering wheel and not being able to sit further forward whilst wearing a helmet - I do it without thinking because I'm just so chilled out on track

I've looked at getting different seats or an extension on the wheel but a difficult one as I like the car being a fast road car not a dedicated track car.

Panamera GTS (pdk gearbox) from 50-200 i'm walking him very slightly
E46 M3 CSL is a big difference, starting from 3rd gear I'm leaving him behind quickly
        B5 RS4 450hp is identical
B5 RS4 500hp walks away slowly at high speeds, but we're talking a few car lengts up to above 200
335i stage 3 Loba with 500hp doesn't pull away until 160, afther that it starts to creep away. Above 220 stronger
E92 M3 with full Akrapovic, intake, remap and 445hp on dyno is dead even.

And all the rest like E39M5, E36/46 M3 3.2, etc is a class lower.

I'm now in the process of dropping my CR, and going mapped water/meth. Prj reckons up till max 480hp will be achieved then.
impressive stuff… what is your target CR with water/meth combo out of interest ?

Will you fit a thicker gasket then?

Are you sure that will worth?
Because if your engine is OK right now Probably adding meth is more than enough.

Ah so that's why nothing can touch me in the RS2

Seriously I think it really depends on what is being driven. In the RS6 anyone can be fast. Pitch up against something with a 0-60 of sub 7 seconds and and have it change gear 3 times below 20mph and he'll nail you in the 0-40 stakes

However... stick me in the RS2 any day for the fun factor. If you fudge the launch or want your clutch to last more than 10k you'll get burned by something powerful but get it right and they'll see your rear before they even get off the line... to be honest I enjoy 2k soft launches, 1sec later they hit the TDi 20mph redline and I come on boost

                Yes thicker HG.
These engines are supposed to love it, and 8.5 would be optimal in combo with w/m and it gives more playroom for boost and timing advance which was limiting factor knock-wises when mapping previously on stock CR. Going 8.0 would
be too much with w/m yes. i'm also doing it just in case i'd go bigger turbo maybe in a few years

But,you are still on stock rods, right?
Be careful with the torque if you continue increasing boost and ignition

Sized yes, but I don't dare to go the Garrett route after reading the failure stories.

How much skill involved is in keeping the pedal in the carpet and executing a gear change or two?

Personally, at least in my case I've never had any issue with gt30R and now gtx3076...

Yeah, and less if we start at 30mph... We don't need to be like Fernando Alonso

In the full wet without LC the RS2 does 5.0sec 0-62. In the dry low to mid 4sec.
