    7A no spark

This morning at 8am, car stopped working seemed be no ignition pulled the dizzy and the distributor gear was broke. I replaced this on side the road with a previously known to work dizzy, however I still have no spark. Is there any likely fuses or anything will got burnt out from the minute which the engine was spinning as I tried work out why I had no power at 70mph?

Are you 100% sure you have timed it up correctly?

Yea matched up the cam timing mark on the pulley to the cam cover and then aligned the two lines in the dizzy. I've plug one out to check for spark

Was very close to doing a basil fawlty and smack the car with a piece if bush

Could still be 180 degrees wrong - correct me if i'm wrong. Try rotating engine 360 (pulley 180). Then re-align dizzy.

Yes make sure you are at TDC and then align the dizzy. As a ghetto test you can turn the dizzy whilst cranking to adjust the hall sensor window and see if you get a spark.

I've timed the dizzy to the cam, the crank passes TDC, once at cam = 0 and once at cam = 180, so can't be 180 out
