No it's not my son's car, that one is the Indigo Avant, it was nearly sold at one point but now back on the driveway awaiting repair.. Got most of the bits for it now.

Crank scored 3 cyls, one shell in half, rod oval.

Dammit John you have no luck at the moment dude, be sure to be careful if you visit the "night ladies" in the Dam
I also have a set of rods here for you, FOC if required
So you just need a crank & some bearings.
Sounds like the last rebuild wasn't a good one - they probably rehoned the big ends too big meaning not enough bearing crush
