If you have (or had) a boost leak it will be running rich all the time so the plugs will be black.
I'd say there's something wrong with those chips though wouldn't you?

All breather pipes are now good I replaced the valves too.
The problem did start when I put the Ts chips in but as others have had no issues I was thinking it was summat else. My plugs were a little on the black side but actually not that bad.
Tried putting up a wanted post ref borrowing another ecu but no joy.
Steve h has kindly offered to look at my chips and luckily can compare the files to rustys who's car is running well on these. Could be the chips, maybe summat happened to them ?
I sold my v stream chips ages ago now too wish I'd of kept them just to compare !Comment
