Audi S2 3b Coolant Gauge Woes

Hi everyone, after changing MFTS, Re-soldering Voltage Stabiliser socket, Tried different Voltage Stabiliser, Checked Wiring etc etc etc, I am now getting completely Fuuucked Off Printed off the 3B Current Flow Program and studied it but im no Auto ElectricianAlthough, I can usually sort problems out, but not this time.
The problem I have at present is, Im trying to trace 1/T to the gauge and the forum mentions a Six Pin Connector behind the Dash Panel, Can't see it for toffee!! and also, im looking for the Blue/Brown Wiring from the MFTS 1/T Connector but can't see that either I am now going mad!! I can't afford and Auto Electrician either, so any further help will greatly be appreciated

I have also tested the back of the fuel gauge and Coolant Temp Gauge and found the outer threaded terminals both light my tester up properly but both inner gauge terminals are showing a faint light?? should this be?? should only one of the gauge terminals be lit?? or both?? or have I found a short?? IE- Bad Earth??

It's not a 6 pin behind the dash

It's T26 which is the yellow connector - you want pin 2. wire should be blue / brown

      S2 Coolant Gauge Woes

Thanks for your reply Mike, I will check again tomorrow in regards to T26 Yellow socket, I looked earlier today and couldn't seem to seem Blue/Brown?? But saw a Black/blue one, do these colours differ between models or is 1/T to the MFTS the same on all versions???
I also tested the coolant gauge and that was working ok, so its got to be a problem somewhere in the loom, if I find Blue/Brown pin 2, can I loop a wire from there to Blue/brown on the MFTS to test for any wiring breaks??
      Cheers in advance David

It's always blue brown - even the 7A engined cars used that same colour.

It also goes through a black 10 pin connector in the aux relay carrier below the steering wheel
