audi rs2 remap? general advice- new owner

I have a pair of MTM chips that are very good taht I dont use anymore. The ECUs have chip sockets so you can change them easily.

yeah i had a 944 turbo with motronic and a chipset that i changed.
what sort of power do your mtm chips do?
noticeable increase in performance? how much do you want, pm if u like

I will post up details of the remap once he sends me details on monday. He works for a big company who do remaps on all kinds of exotic stuff. I asked him if he did remap for rs2 and he said they did loads back in the day and got 380/400hp with a custom tune on the rr. Will cobfirm details once I have spoken to him properly. Was a brief fb message

That would be good, as tuners who will work with these ECUs are limited.

If it's an untouched ECU, then you may have to de-solder the OE chips and solder in some chip holders.

I run the same chipset that Spink sells and it's aggressive and works fine. Custom tune will be better, if done properly of course.

To echo above, prj, s2central or spink can all help with this.

You can get a hybrid turbo from Iroz motorsport with a billet cold side or run a mix and match hybrid from a number of companies but you'd be as well trying to find a k26/27 and get it mapped for that.

not too common and I've seen only one but Nothelle did a variant for the rs2, think it was around 380+ from memory..

Its an RS2. They have chip holders from the factory unlike S2s. No soldering needed.
