Thanks man... Stooped question, but if I change the MAP will the chips need reprogramming?

Yeah I lived there for 10 years, moved back to the UK in 2010. I've sent Nero a pm, I guess the chips are probably fine so it's likely to be my wiring

My profile photo on the left is actually in Naarden.....

Here you go: http://www.s2forum.com/forum/member.php?u=105 Pretty sure he knows what's inside your ECU.

I know he does supply chips and the text on your ECU is Dutch. 1 and 1 makes 2.

That's kinda what I thought. Stock ecu on the way so ill give them a go and triple check the wiring.

Sitting in the cinema now. .but I have a photo from the soldering of the rear of the board...not good!! I'll be re doing that and checking the other one. I'll post the photo later.....

Never seen those chips before. The lables look like something irrelevant that was cut up and used just because it had a sticky side. The "285" and "285PK" imply 285 hp. However, that is not possible with a stock ABY 2.5 Bar (250 kPa) MAP sensor

Enjoy the cimema unless its a chickflick tonight.
Not much you can do until the chips arrive. Might be worth devising a temporay OBD port so that its possible to hook up VCDS for fault finding. It only needs power/earth and the ecu line.
    Lets see what happens
    The chips are 1 267 358 021/022 which i have X referenced to ecu 145/146 which is the A (unimmo)version I hope.

Engine is stock yes, I'll open the ecu and get some more photos that may help....

And I just thought, the waste gate spring I think has been uprated.
