    MAF now NLA, where to get one now

    Refurbed MAF went last week and now on my old dodgy spare so went looking for a genuine replacement and was gobsmacked by the prices, wtf is going on. Where is everyone else getting MAF's for their 20Vt from now they are trying to put these engines on the scrap heap.....
    1986 Coupe q - 2281cc 3B, chargecooler, 2.75" exh & downpipe, ported head, water injection, CGR box, modified MD357 turbo, 440cc injectors, high power coil.
    2004 A4 2.5TDi convertible, re-mapped to 180bhp
    2011 A5 sportback 3TDi-Backbox delete, remap

          Details! Plus would have to be compatible with the eboost2 and my setup I'm using

              Found out that a volvo 740 from the late 80's used a virtually identical maf. Anyone tried one of these as prices are sensible, at the moment

                                  ECP have them. I almost bought a couple of S2 ones to keep as spares as they were £65 with 30% off

                                  They are still available but £195 (with 30% code) after a £120 exchange.

                                      £600 wow! I don't mind costly parts if they are worth it but that is taking advantage a bit too much. Can you not send it back to Bosch for re-working?

                                      £195 sounds acceptable, £600 is just robbery.

                                          What i do not understand, is, why the virtual doubling in price in 12 months to £600. Hello.... WTF is going on. This seams to be very much the case now with loads of older audi parts/items.
