    audi s2 3b catcam mounting

Hello. Ive bought some cat cams and i am actually just about to mount them right now. Yet ive run into some troubles. What would be the timing marks on the cam gears like there is some kind of timing marks on the stock wheels? The new ones are the following on the picture. Please help!

You should have gotten a timing card with the cams. You set them by setting the crankshaft at a specified point and adjusting the lift on the cams per the timing card.

On stock cams, the timing marks are on the back side of the chain sprockets so your photo doesn't help us.

Then I strongly recommend that you talk to the manufacturer of the cams and politely ask "WTF?"

You need the timing card for your cams froms catcams, or calculated lift @ tdc for each camshaft. Those are listed at the catcams website

                      Did you go here:

And then select a cam card like this (sport):

They have to timed with dial gauges as they are adjustable, they aren't drop in with marks unfortunately.

if you dont know why you need to dial the cams in then dont even attempt it as it will all end in tears. Cams need to be dialed in properly by someone who knows what they are doing otherwise it will be wrong .
