First ever order from Ali Express, no problems at all.
Looks excellent, and is very cose to 100% identical to the ones that I have seen ranging from £50 to £220 at local parts stores.
This one cost me £13.50 delivered. That is simply astonishing.

Here is a pic along with the IR thermometer that I have picked up on Ebay previously (£7 including shipping (that is nuts as well).
Will use the IR to check temps with/without blanket and will do some back to back testing for power/torque graphs and acceleration numbers.

I have ordered this one too, same seller, delivered in ~10 days looks pretty much the same as the expensive ones you can buy in the tuning shops at 10 times the price. total cost €16!

Fitted the blanket and did a drive of 15km, with one good WOT pull in second gear. When I parked the car it was smoking a little. Took the blanket off when it was cool enough and could not find anything wrong. Maybe it was just because it is new. Took a second drive with some more abuse and it did not smoke anymore. The amount of heat in the engine bay is significantly less. Blanket gets hot on the outside, but only so you just can not touch it for longer than one second.

My blanket also smoked the first time. And i can put my hand on the outside for a long time without burning it.

Blankets, wraps, everything smokes the first time they heat up, it's just normal.

£125 blanket delivered from US is what I've just ordered after recommendation from a friend that runs one.

This video during a 3rd and 4th full throttle pass on a dyno says it all. Watch the temps.

Impressive stuff. Which one would I need for an RS2 turbo?

Same question from me really, what size do I need for a Kkk#6 housing. They seem to be sized according to garret turbos (t3, t04e etc) I'm not sure of kkk equivalent.

The smallest one. I use the T3 size on my Holset #16 housing.

Finally found the time to install the turbo blanket. Installed the gauge setup for measuring exhaust backpressure as well. The special bung for the pressure setup is seen in the picture. Info about that and results in a different thread.
The blanket seems to work well. Looks like this installed (seen here with the airbox removed):

Don't have any performance data yet, but I was out doing some 2nd and 3rd gear WOT pulls on the freeway in order to log exhaust back pressure.
Pulled into the garage and did some quick measurements during idle with my infrared thermometer:

Approx 136C on the turbo, covered by the blanket

Approx 328C at the downpipe entrance, right next to the turbo/blanket:
