    injecter replacement trouble

today I decided to change injector 1 as the garage said it wasn't working properly ,when i put the rail back on number 4 was more difficult than the others to get on and fuel came pouring out , thing it was a leak on no4 i put no 1 back in no4 slot and still the fuel came out.
are there any seals inside the rail that i could have lost ,i will have a look in the morning to see if i have broken anything but would love some clues
    cheers

There are O rings that sometimes stay in the rail and sometimes stay on the injector you may have lost one

Two per injector, one O ring to the engine and one to the rail. Maybe you damaged one and its leaking?

They are easy enough to damage. Best practice is to never re-use such seals. Theres over 4bar of fuel pressure in that rail - not the best thing to be leaking !

took the car out yesterday and was fine iding to start and fine driving but when i got to a set of lights it was misfiring again.
when i got home i took all the injectors out and one of them had the green bit at the bottom missing
wonder if this is the cause
alternatively aux rad is looking fairly grim would a small leak from this cause a small misfire at idle
as i have absolutely no mechanical knowledge appreciate any advise

                cheers

That Aux rad wouldnt cause a misfire, and if its looking worse for wear they can be removed as the car runs fine without these fitted.

Just blank off the 2 hoses that connect to it.

There are several posts on here with regard the Aux Rad, if you do a search you will get any answers you might have with regard removing it
