There is a video for oil pressure gauge fitted into oil feed to turbo pipe, start on cold engine, what you guys think?

      and the same hot engine?
i have a thoughts that my oil pressure it is to high, and that is blowing seals on turbo

You nearly got 7.4Bar on cold revs, that looks not too high. Is the max pressure also 7.4Bar on hot oil or is it only temporary with cold oil?

I have seen 6Bar on cold idle, but it started to drop off really fast when the engine began to warm up (5w40). Max i have seen is 7Bar on cold revs, after that the oil pressure relief valve probably works it's magic. On hot, my max is also 6.5-7Bar, not more. Hot idle is between 1.8-1.4Bar depending how hot the oil actually is.

thank you for reply. so my oil my oil pressure it's ok, not to high?! you got no issues with blowing turbo i guess? my cold idle is 6 bar, hot 1.8 bar. reving cold 7.5 bar, reving hot 6.5 bar. i have no idea what to test next?! oil pump?
is it possible that wrongly connected n75 or dump valve can damage the turbo? max boost 1.8 (25 psi) i'm sure i connected all good, but still.... and another thing after all upgrades, mapping, turbo, injectors, manifold etc car never made target 400bhp it made 312bhp on last mrc rolling road. it looses torque at high revs. but i gues it's down to wastegate, or spring. but on another hand maybe it's all together, one problem?!!

Are you priming the new turbo's with oil before installing/starting the car up?

yes return pipe was out and replaced, feed line as well. turbo was preoiled before fitting. so all good there. have a look what i found in oil presure relieve valve

that thick 3mm washer should not be there i believe! that is a present from previous owner. i strongly think that that made pressure to high or it was all over the place, god knows what it was doing there

Screw the car. Whats the story with the massive pool of bloody in the last 2seconds? Possible dead body stuck in turbo?

my oilpump have also that 3mm washer and I never had any problems with that
my engine has cold +- 8bar oilpressure and hot on idle 2bar without problems even with my earlier rs2 setup(now i use a gt30 ballbearing with 0.9mm ristrictor) so i think that the washer is not your problem but it's easy to remove

I AM very confused then!! ETKA DO NOT show this washer as a part number on aby engine... I though previous owner fit that washer to increase oil pressure for some reasons

Maybe the 1.6 bar boost that you have on the redline kills the turbos. Chipped rs2 can't go with over 1.1 on the redline because it is overspinning the turbo. Stock K24 and Volvo k24 less than that as they are smaller.

Apart check as it was said if the turbo feed line is OK all the times. Can it be that someone messed with the oil cooler thermostat housing(oil filter housing) and at warm engine it sends all the oil away from the turbo? I can't recall how the oil flow is inside that thing.

                          To sum it up:

                          1. 1.6-1.7 bar in the high revs kills the turbos

                          2. Boost leak kills the turbo (trying to give the pressure you request while leaking can overspin the turbo.

                          3. Send me your old Volvo turbo

Thank for new idea, maybe it is not oil related!
I have checked for boost leaks, all good
Why do you want old volvo turbo for? it's finished, shaft can not be repaired, to far gone

Interesting about to much boost at red line killing the turbo . Even more interesting would be to know what Boost guys on hear running Rs2 set up ,or other set up are seeing Up to, and at the red line.

Pretty sure my oil pump has that washer, I get 1.8-2.0 bar on hot idle and off the scale cold.

I covered 5/6K miles running 1.0 bar on my RS2 hybrid and have since done about 1K miles running 1.9 peak 1.5 at the red line, inspected the turbo the other day and it's like new still. However I feel I'm pushing my luck a bit so I'm going to be bolting on a full K24 7200 very soon.
