    3B no start help

    Hi

Looking for help getting my 3b to start. For those not familiar, 3B s2, engine was removed, forged rods, gaskets etc done. Rs2 turbo, Rs2 injectors etc.

    Now trying to start her!

    Spins, but will not fire.

    Fuel pressure at the rail.

    Spark plugs dry.

I have done an output test and none of the injectors will click, all other solenoids click away.

    Fault codes

    Throttle switch

G28 (engine is not running so to be expected iirc?)

As the injectors will not click during an output test does that indicate a wiring problem? EG bad/missing earth?

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated!

There does not appear to be +12v at the injectors with ignition on as S2central says their should be?

Have you got 12V at the injectors? Effectively the ecu grounds the injectors/solenoids to operate them!

          No, just checked this.

Where is it supposed to get +12v from, what could be missing/broken?

Test it! Either by continuity or power in and out. Doesen't it also power the maf. So you could double check to see if there is power to that.

Remove injectors n drip a little fuel in each hole, replace them n try start. Will narrow it to 100% fuel issue! Fuel pump relay kicking in ok and filling rail? Feed and return the right way around? not an air lock in the fuel lines after having rail off?Hopefully something daft, keep us posted then text me so i can come round for a shot.

Resistance between fuse s28 and injector 1 blue/black stripe wire is 1.0/ 1.1 ohms.

Does it give spark to plugs?

If not, distributor on 180 degrees wrong? Recheck timing.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

Test the fuse by removing it and testing for open circuit between the legs!
Then if ok, put it back and check for 12V at both sides by probing the top of the fuse. Check injectors for 12V and Maf T5 with ign on.

How about the ground wires under the IM? There's a bunch of them on 2 tags which bolt to the IM near the FPR.
