Is an oil temp of 90 and pressure at 4.5 ok?

Cant seem to find out what is right and what is not right.

    Running 3b ~ 310 hk with castrol rs 10w-60

When idle and warm i have 2-2.4 bar pressure and temperature is around the second mark se picture.

When driving at 4000 rpm oil pressure is between 4-5 bar, newer over 5 bar. Oil temperature is sometimes as the red arrow or perhaps between yellow and red arrow.
Is this oki or should i be looking at changing the oil cooler?

Mine is in the same temp... but I always see more than 4 bar over 3000 RPM. On normal driving I never saw oil temp over it, only in track days and at highways revving up.

    Cheers

that's fine...oil won't start to break down until after that red arrow. A larger oil cooler on a modified turbo car is never a bad idea, but you are ok at that range.

Sounds normal, I had seen mine over the red mark in the summer when driving enthusiastically..... I would have thought oil in the engine is going to be at least 90 deg C anyway as that is the temperature of the coolant give or take 5 degs.....

        Cheers.

MIne regularly goes over 120C on a thrash or a trackday. My chosen 10W60 oil is good for 125C continuous and 150C intermittent...thats why I use it!

I see 2 bar at idle when hot and no less than a full 5 bar at anything over a few thousand revs. I have a high mileage car (160k+ miles) but still seems healthy enough.

Jonas, those images look ok and what you discribe is ok at idle too.

Well mine hits between 4-5 bar when yours hit full 5 bar, but is oki as long as it is over 4 bar in pressure? I mean there are only to "dots / notch" between 4 and 5 bar on the gauge.

Hehe that would be nice, tried Torben (Audi-Sports) S2 with the antilag system, that was pretty crazy.

So would not mind trying a S2 with even more powet.
Why dont you come buy in the summer when Audi Club Dk ís holding a gathering in Judland.
