Guys ist all in the tune. Yesterday i Drived an S4 with a GT3582 on E85, the Car made 637hp on Dino, it has 1 bar at 3000 rpm's, 2 bar at 4000 rpm's and fullboost 2,3 bar at 4300 rpm's. Go like Crazy. The Car has 8,0:1 Compression Ratio, upgradet rods, a PK EM, 4" Exhaust 2 bosch Pumps and 1000cc injectors.
Ist ist Running on a Vems.
On E85 you can reduce lag pushing the Timing to higher Levels. On 102 Pump Gas you can only go to 22 degrees Timings advance on E85 we arme Running 30 degrees advance without Problems. That Makes a Big diference on spool and HP.

Most gain of the billet wheel would be psychological, it sure looks good.
I beg to differ here. Although You admit it Yourself in later post, at least partly, but I'll rephrase anyways:

Billet wheels are lighter, this is true. The cone in the middle of compressor wheel is significantly smaller in modern billet wheel designs than in the cast opponents of same dimensions. Hence they have more flow area, and obviously more flow capacity. IOW if cast and billet wheels same dimensions, billet wheel has longer blades.

Considering the difference between DD cars driven in town and traffic, and track or race/ drag cars, I would suggest one list with turbos that can reach upt to around 500hp with best possible lag and spool behaviour, and another list for those who wanna run off limits and say "I wanna clearly brake the 500 limit, doesn´t matter if there is no power below 4500rpm". Thoughts?

My thoughts are that all engines need to be modified for 500hp with a minimum of rods being upgraded and compression dropped for regular pump fuel, so the whole premise is flawed.

May play a role. But does not explain Dmitry´s contradictory statements. Whatever...not to be commented by me.
But as told- for me it is a real good charger, but not for really more than 500 hp.

I live in germany; here it is less available. I even don´t think, that motors are constructed for it- but since I am not really much into it, I might be wrong here. The reason, why I prefer the discussion here based on "normal" fuels is, that this is available and known everywhere, and everyone knows the results when using it. It´s only about comparability- now one can really tell you exactly what will be the difference between 95oktan super and E85 on the same motor. Especially when it is tuned.

to replace it with billet's but it's great to see it spools up little
    earlier than stock wheel.
Pop, sure there is usually a small gain in spoolup because the stronger billet wheel is machined thinner than a cast wheel so it's lighter. Depends of the design/layout, usually they also give a little better flow than the stock wheel.

Sorry but that statement is complete nonsense,
with head work the old i5 can easily out flow a modern
engine. If you dont believe me have a look at JP's build
thread and see the VE curve.

TJ:what's the gain on adding up the billet wheel on the turbo?i have read from many forums but never see any definitive results on it.let's say i have 2871 with kkk housing.i recently added the 11 blades billet wheel with extended tips from 71mm exducer to 73.84mm.i have been running a log and found the turbo spools up slightly earlier with old map.
