The white one at the back of the head which feeds the ECU, any difference between the 3B and the ABY one?

Thanks bro
Still trying to figure out why I'm having issues with my ABY'd 3B

G62 Test Procedure
Eliminate the G62 as being bad by testing it:
From Bentley, the G62 (Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT)) sensor test procedure is as follows:
Allow the engine to cool to room temp (68F/20C)
Disconnect ECT sensor from harness connector
Switch multimeter to resistance range
Connect multimeter to terminals 1 and 2 of the ECT
Resistance must be 1500 to 3000 ohms
IF NO = replace ECT
IF YES = check wiring between sensor and ECM (ECU)

Dmitri wrote me some SW for my EV14s and installed it in the ecu with 4 bar map, sent it over here to UK. Tried it in car, runs very lean on idle and stalls, very rich on boost. No leaks.
Dmitri says injectors probably not scaling as expected so I take them out and try some RS2 greens with appropriate SW. Car runs perfectly but boost is too high as chips are for a 3bar map. So I get another ECU with a 3 Bar MAP and put the RS2 chips in that but now the car runs really rich on idle and stalls so I don't even try to drive it.
So something is different between these 2 ECUs apart from the MAP sensors.
I now have the one with the 4 Bar MAP in there with Dmitri's boost chip and the RS2 fuel chip and green injectors. This runs ok but obviously the fueling is not right for the GT3071 and it pings a bit at 2 Bar

So what could be different about these 2 ECUs??
Maybe R201??
Where is R201? I had a quick look yesterday but couldn't find it.Comment

Think its on the bottom of the board!
I think there is a way to measure the difference by testing the ecu pins. The how to was on the 034 site but its not available. Memory is a bit hazy so perhaps you will need to ask on another thread to see if anybody took notice.Last edited by twoqu; 10 November 2014, 14:33.Comment

maybe you have a problem with the fpr? have you measured the fuelpressure?audi coupe quattro b2 2.2 20vt project (573hp-626nm)

It was R201. The second ECU had the stock ABY resistor but actually needed the 5k6 for the RS2 chips to work properly.
Vice Versa the first ECU had the RS2 5k6 resistor which is weird as I thought it was stock
but it explains why the RS2 chips fueled ok (now that I know that they needed the 5k6 resistor!)
Question I'm waiting to find out is if PRJ fitted the 5k7 on purpose or if it was already in there, if not then I'm ready to try the EV14s againComment
