but but but how can this both work with 200kpa and 250kpa sensor? i mean from what i know output voltage from sensor is the same for 200kpa sensor @ 1 bar as it is for 250kpa @ 1.5 bar, right?
It can't work for both correctly. All this gibberish is from people who have no idea how it works and what is inside.

Most likely it's just some random sw with all boost and fuel cut limitations turned off.
Then you're just relying on knock control to keep your engine from blowing up.

That's also most likely why this guy here "recommends a MLS gasket" - because when you're knocking all the time, the paper gasket lets go rather quickly

A tune is always done for one set of hardware. If you see someone talking, that "ah you can change spring, you can do this, maybe you can do that" you can be 100% sure that:
    1) this person has NO idea about tuning.
    2) this person stole this tune from someone and is selling it.
    3) this person has no idea what he is selling.

    Simple as that…

In this country most of this practice on 2.2T was eradicated about 5 years ago. But it runs strong in many other places still.

On a 200kpa sensor the max boost you can run is about 0.8 bar. This is because if you want to retain the boost cut functionality for an emergency, you can set it at 0.99 bar.
On a 250kpa sensor, the peak should be not more than 1.3 bar for the same reason.
    300 kpa sensor, yup, 1.8.
    Otherwise there is no safety.

Also, each normal tune has a sane load cut limit set. That means if you ever tried to run a tune meant for a 200kpa sensor on a 250kpa sensor, the boost would go 20% higher, the load would go out of bounds and a fuel cut would be initiated.

All these safeguards are there to protect the engine in case there is some sort of problem with the hardware. Run a tune with them disabled, and if something happens to your wastegate, boost control, etc it is very easy to just melt the engine.
Yet this is exactly the software certain cowboys will sell you, along with wastegate springs and what not.

I recommend an MLS gasket because the original fiber Gasket is not reliable at long term with 1,5 Max boost, especially with high mileage engine.
I don't know from things switched off, I can just say that the software worked well and I was happy with it.

It is perfectly reliable with the correct software when the engine is not knocking all the time. Boost has nothing to do with rods bending and gaskets going. The reason is detonation.

I do not think that my engine would have survived with what he had to endure if there would have been detonations, but I alwas used minimum 98 Ron fuel.
and as said this software was really famous in Germany some years ago and many people used it and was happy with it.

Of course it was knocking. The entire time. The stock knock control is quite good and saves it from the worst of it, but the reason the gasket went was because that software was not meant to be used with that hardware config, and thus it is constantly knocking and timing is being pulled back. There is nothing to "think" - a 5 minute session with some detcans will confirm what I am saying.

And no amount of 98 RON fuel is going to help you when you run a tune with 1.5x more boost than it was calibrated for.

The main problem is you see "chips" - I see "engine calibration" and any further discussion is pointless. The fact that this calibration does not trigger any failsafes when running much higher boost means it is not a good one either.

as far as I know this software is specially calibrated for the 250Kpa sensor.

And how do you know this exactly? Because someone told you this?
OP's car is running 1.3 bar on a 200kpa sensor. What does this say about this software?

                a) It has no boost cut.
                b) It's not working right.

Meaning - fit what sensor you want. 250 kpa, 300 kpa, 400 kpa. And it's magically "calibrated" right?

it was sold in combinations with the 250kpa sensor.
I can't say if it had or not a boost cut. but the 1,3bar is for me a hardware Problem,
sorry but I' can't not better explain it, I just wanted to tell to OP from where the software came and how install it.

And this means nothing… It can be sold in combination with 300 kpa or 400kpa sensor, it does not matter. The one who sells the software did not make it.

You can't say anything and you don't have to. OP's car boosts to 1.3 bar on a 200kpa sensor. If the software had a cut programmed, it would cut the boost or cut the fuel in this case. But it is not doing it.

So what happens when for example N75 gets stuck open or line to or from N75 is damaged?

                    BOOM.

Maybe so but the MAP sensor in that ECU is definitely 200 kPa.

i do understand what you both guys are talking about, and to some extent mini GUN is also right. maybe not in long term, but the thing works. I mean lots of people are running "standard" drop-in chips. Long term effects are difficult to evaluate.
I have no idea about detonation. Cant test it, cant hear anything.

But something has to be done. I repeat a question for you prj - Can I acquire an ecu intended for a stock (apart from ecu itself) car that is chipped to 1,3-4bar with 1,5bar sensor without getting my car live mapped? Or does that need to be really precise for each individual engine? What is a rule of thumb here?

Well I have tested the car without n75. 0,4bar exactly. no less no more. that is why i am saying that my car is unmolested apart from ecu. So this gives some safety.

But 1,3bar with 1bar sensor made me disappointed. I really expected to find something more interesting inside my ecu

you can't say that someones software is "bad" or don't have fail-safes without tested or analysed it personally, this is not fair.
                            no boom for me.

There is nothing to analyze. With N75 off the car boosts 0.4 bar as expected, so that means the wastegate spring is OK, and the N75 is working.

With a 200kpa sensor, we have 1.3 bar boost with this software. That means there is no boost cut present (FF'd) and boost target map is FF'd as well. Else the ECU would try to control it or at least turn the N75 off, but it does not.

Unlike you, I know exactly how the ECU works. Nothing unfair in calling this tune ****.

Why do you keep talking about 1 Bar Sensor? The MAP sensor = manifold absolute pressure. 200 kPa is 2 Bar absolute. Assuming normal atmospheric pressure is about 1.01 Bar, leaving up to 0.98 Bar for relative boost. BUT yet, we call a 200 kPa MAP a 2 Bar sensor, 250 kPa (AAN and ABY) = 2.5 Bar sensor and 300 kPa (RS2) = 3 Bar MAP sensor.
