Boost piping - is this a restriction?

Just looking at this pipe arrangement earlier, the GT3071 compressor outlet feeds the original 3B Samco which joins to an adapter into the Wagner IC. It does look a bit restricted. Just wondering if I should put the adapter at the turbo end and feed the IC with 3" tube. (or whatever the Wagner size is) ?

I doubt it causes any restriction. I look to get a 1 piece pipe made though just to look neater and lessen a chance of leaks

Air flows through the centre and will not touch the sides, this will cause turbulence but as as is a forced flow should not really have issues further than appearance

Thanks guys, I thought so, It would be nice to tidy it up though, I have the parts to do it in 3" but would need to get a pipe welded on for the DV

looks similar to mine. i find no issues.

if it were a restriction it may blow the pipe off. my corrado used to do this loads.

Can't see that larger pipework would hurt but equally, I can't see that this is that much of an issue either
