Hello again guys. Audi had a nice full service yesterday and when I got her back she's got a massive miss fire under load. Garage instantly said my coils. It was kind of there before but only really noticed it at low speeds and in top gears. Mmmmmm
second question is does anybody have any for sale in good condition please!
Sounds expensive but do the conversion for around £300 so you can use TFSI coils, well worth the money and in future your new coils will cost £35 instead of £140 each
I thought that answer was coming lol. Just a pain, spend all the money for the service expected it to be a little better but no turns out to be worse lol!
TFSI/FSI coils will pay off in long run, that's why I just went that route, rather than getting second hand OE unit and mess about with soldering. Also, if one is giving up, rest will too.

did the garage check/replace your spark plugs? when one of my coils went it would either work perfectly or not at all...no misfire or anything...
agree though that the tfsi conversion is a good idea in the long run
Yeah they changed all the spark plugs. And when I first drove it home it wasn't 2 bad. Bearable. But took my lad to school and it was getting worse. Come to work and I was struggling to pull of junctions or get any power down what so ever
Seems to have got progressively worse but it's only done 30 miles!
